So he's gonna start against Vandy. Whoop tee frickin doo! Fulmer says he realized on Monday that Ainge would start this Sat. Seems to me he doesn't play with the same heart and fire as Crompton. What do you guys think?

Needy,

Have been to most of the home games this year and have followed him since he has been at UT fairly close. I think he is a prick and is def. not very tough. I think he begged off against LSU and didn't have the sack to play last week.

As a UT fan, I would rather see Crompton play the rest of the way and see what he has. He threw 2 great deep balls against LSU, but in typical conservative Fulmer fashion, we haven't seen that since.

Rumor has it that AInge called Manning in the off season and asked him about Cutcliffe, Manning told him to listen and shut the hell up. Obviously he had a great start to the season, but IMHO, you never see a guy's true colors until things get tough. Ever since FLA, he has been mediocre at best.

Thanks for the reply. I think he is a spoiled rich kid who thinks he's already great. I think the same about the LSU game cause they made him look like an idiot last year. He probably was skeered of Arkansas too. Just seems that way I guess when he's ready to play on Monday. Just waiting for Crompton to have his day.
