Colorado State is allowing 23.1 points per game, and they have done a good job vs. the run, allowing 124.7 rushing yards per game on just 3.5 yards per carry. This is doubly important vs. an Air Force attack that needs to run the ball to have any success. Of course, the Falcons won?t abandon a running game that is averaging a whopping 297.4 yards per game on the ground. I see two possible results here, and both favor the Under: either Air Force is successful running the ball and goes on some time consuming drives; or Colorado State stuffs the run and forces the Falcons to the air, where they have not been successful. Not to be overlooked here either is an Air Force defense that is allowing just 16.6 points per contest. The last 2 meetings between these schools both played Under, with a combined total score of 46.0 points per game, 6 points less than this posted total.
