From Paul Finebaum's column (interview with Danny Sheridan who sets the lines for USA Today):

Sheridan pointed out some interesting facts and figures about both teams this week, such as Alabama being 1-5 against the point spread this year.

"Alabama has lost five straight versus the spread with four of the five as a favorite,
so it will be interesting to see how they do as a 'pick'em' against Tennessee and an underdog against LSU and Auburn," Sheridan said.

Auburn is 4-3 versus the spread but 2-0 as a dog, winning both games (Florida and Arkansas) outright. Auburn is currently on a four-game win streak and point-spread streak, and the Tigers are a huge underdog tonight at LSU.

Auburn is also 12-1 straight up in its past 13 SEC road games and 8-1 in its past nine games against top-10 opponents (LSU is No. 4).

"If you're looking for an edge in the Alabama-Tennessee game, listen up. The road team has covered six straight in the series and, incredibly, the road team has covered 14 of the last 15 games between these two.
