My buddy (Ark season ticket holder) and I are thinking of going tot he Ark/Bama game on 9/24.

Any advise on tickets, where to stay, restaurants, gambling joints would be greatly appreciated.

I see many tickets on stub hub around $200 each. We want decent (doesn't have to be great) seats.

Is anyone going to be at that game?

Thank you fellas.

I am also trying to go to that game but tickets are astronomical! Bama stadium is 101k now and could put in 130k long as Nick stays :scared

with expectations of this years team it is going to be hard to find a decent priced seat and Arky, the UT Viles and LSWho tickets will be $200 MINIMUM ... he may be more successful finding one from the Arky fans that get there certain amount of ticket denominations

stay in Birmingham or drive over to MS and stay at one of the casinos

a MUST do in T-Town is Dreamland but will be damn near impossible on game weekends without long wait ... "ain't nothing like em nowhere"

Definitely have to do Dreamland. Try to go on Friday night but expect a long wait. Gameday will be next to impossible.

Breakfast at the Waysider is also a must.

On gameday you have to go to the Quad, Elephant Stomp, Walk of Champions and the Bryant Museum.

A lot of the nightlife is gone near campus as many of the student bars on University Drive have closed. Checkout the Houndstooth and the Bear Trap.

Tickets and hotel are another story. SEC opener, first big home game of the year... I wish you best of luck.
