I was wondering if anyone had any input on this game as a pick. I think the Rebels offense is too much for the tide. Input greatly appreciated.

Rebs got them at home right where they want them. And they definitely WANT this game real badly. Ole Miss will put up plenty of points on this Bama defense. Reb star DT Jesse Mitchell is out, but Bama has plenty of walking wounded themselves. I think this is one of those years that Ole Miss takes this game. Good luck!

Rebels are really coming together right now. Mitchell is a big loss, but, if at a pk, the only play is Ole Miss. No reason to side with the Tide in this game.

8 wins in the last 50 years..

8 wins in the last 50 years..

is one reason to side with the Tide. OM was supposed to throw it all over Bryant Denny last year and scored 6 points. Tyler Watts(starter) was out. OM has squeked by Vandy and Memphis. OM is a tough home team and ELI is the best QB in the SEC(even over Green) and maybe the best QB in the nation. Recievers are tough. Bama is injured badly. I can see why any OM fan would be licking their chops. Turnovers could be the deciding factor. Bama's D looked good against USM. Should be a good one. See you in Oxford..:p

Nice rebuttal Bama1!!
"No reason to side with the tide."
I gotta give you guys credit, yall are always optimistic.
Eli for heisman, haha!! or even better, remember this, "Deuce for Heisman" haha who are yall kidding, nobody wins the heisman on a 7-5 team.
I have a couple of friends that play and played for yall (B. Flowers, W. Scott, B. Hartsfield) and they all have said that Ole Miss will never win with Cutcliffe. Will we ever win with Shula?? Thats my big effin question??

BESIDES THE OFFENSIVE JUGGERNAUT KNOW AS SOUTHERN MISS...WHAT INDICATION HAVE ANY OF US GOTTEN THAT bama IS A GOOD DEFENSIVE TEAM???..

NO DISRESPECT TO BAMA FANS AND FOLLOWERS BUT IVE WATCHED THIS TEAM QUITE A FEW TIMES THIS YEAR AND I HAVE NOT WALKED AWAY AFTER THE GAME THINKING >>>WOW WHAT A GREAT DEFENSIVE TEAM...

MY HONEST OPINION IS THAT I DONT THINK THIER D IS AS GOOD AS YEARS PAST....

AND NO ONE WILL SIT HERE AND SAY OLE MISS D IS ANYTHING STELLAR....BUT TAKE A LOOK AT SOME OF THOSE GAMES THIER SECONDARY WAS ROASTED NOT THE RUN DEFENSE...

WITH A BACK-UP QB IN THER FOR BAMA...I WOULD EXPECT MISS TO PLAY SOME TYPE OF D WHICH WOULD MAKE THE QB BEAT THEM RATHER THAN BAMA'S BACKS...

GOOD LUCK GUYS..

I'm thinking it's time for a: "Long Live The Bear " or "Got Twelve?" post out of usbbroker. Typical Flammer fan covering up a potential throttling with irrelevant issues (i.e. heisman comments)!! GL in Oxford buddy:D

I agree with Horns lets cap this game Bama Fan will be Bama Fan.

The Rebs don't have a great "d" but we have all known that all year. Our "O" is how we beat teams and that is how we will win all yr. I think that we can out score Bama in Oxford. So at a pick the Rebs are a good bet. I will be on the Rebs and in the Sky Box pounding Bloody's. Hopefully watching the Rebs Out Score the Tide.

SOMEWHERE AROUND THE S.E.C.
ole miss has many in juries

a banged up offensive line with cris spencer not playing and 2 other lineman banged up pretty good.

their best defensive lineman mitchell will not play and his back up boykin has back problems is limited.

their number 1 tight end has been hurt all year and play sparingly last week end

their best running back in my opinion tore and acl last week and is out for the rest of the year.

no way is alabama any more crippled than ole miss.
