2* - Nebraska (+11)
In Nebraska?s four losses this season they have allowed an average of 36.5 points per game and have scored an average of 23.5 points. Only Kansas and Pittsburgh have held the Huskers to under 23 points and they have scored an average of 26.2 points per game overall.

That last number is particularly significant as only twice all season has Michigan scored enough points to cover tonight?s number against Nebraska?s average score. In fact, Michigan has only scored more points than the Huskers? average four times this season and they averaged only 29.7 points per game themselves while allowing 20.2 points per game. Guess what, Nebraska plays defense as well and their opponent?s average score this season was only a fraction higher at 20.4 points per game.

If you digest the numbers above and still think that Michigan can cover the spread tonight, you are essentially saying that you believe that Michigan will score four points above their average which is 13.3 points more than Nebraska has giving up in the last eleven games. Additionally you are trying to convince yourself that Michigan will hold the Huskers to four points below their own scoring average which is something that only two teams have done all year. Good luck with that, my money is on Cornholio and the points tonight.

Fourteen all at the half. These two teams are too evenly matched for either one to be giving up 11 points.
