I have been pondering a play on this game all day. I am not ready to give in and say the Yanks are the better team, but I guess the playoffs are telling a much different story than the regular season.
It seems like everyone and thier mother is on the Yanks tonight (and as much as I hate to go against all the top cappers on this board), I am sticking to my guns.
This game is obviously a very big game for Seattle. If they lose this they fall 0-2 and travel to NY for 3 (Seattle has lost ONLY 1 road series all year vs Oakland late in the year). I don't think it a MUST WIN game though because of the series being 7 games. Everyone was counting the Yankees out when they were down 0-2 to Oakland. We know what happened there.
I am going with Seattle tonight again as I have been a big fan of Mussina over the years, and he does tend to show signs of invulnerability againt good hitting teams, and I do think Seattle fits that bill.
I am staying away from the total due to the fact, I am always on the over when the under comes in and vice versa...
I have capped this game long enough today. Call me stubborn, call me stupid, I just have a gut feeling tonight (and if you guys saw my gut lately, you know that that is a BIG feeling).
