Not a big fan of the all star game but do think it offers some decent value bets. Just some small plays to make it interesting.

The first inning is traditionally the highest scoring scoring inning and we have stacked lineups against pitchers that give up home runs. A first inning score YES at +115 offers good value to me.

5 of the last 7 produced at least 4 runs in the first half so I will take the FH OV 3.5 -120. Simply think we see some runs, particularly off the starters with home run since it still should be in the 80's at game time.

AL TT Ov 3.5 -120. I obviously think there will be more runs than last year and I think the AL lineup is much more loaded than the NL so will go with their TT over the NL.

I am anxious to see where Manny Machado goes as apparently the deal is done. My money is on the fighting Phillies as they certainly see an opportunity to win the division this year and they have a good chance to sign him long term.

Enjoy the game!!

2:48pm: Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports that the Dodgers are the club with a deal framework in place. But the Philadelphia Inquirer?s Scott Lauber tweets that the Phillies are still ?aggressively motivated? and optimistic of landing Machado.
