All you SC fans - What is your opinion on Norm Chow

There are STRONG rumors within the school that Norm Chow is going to be the new head coach. Lisa Love, current AD, is from SC and has a strong relationship with Chow, allegedly.

What do you guys know about him, and why do you think he hasn't been offered a head coaching position before (speculated) ASU?

I have heard he doesn't "like" the recruiting aspect...is this true?

Can he motivate? We know he can coach offense, but so can Koetter. Koetter was just a douche to the media and pretty much everyone in general, which is a big reason why he was fired. Well, that, and the 0-12 in California record. And 2-19 against ranked opponents. Details :mj07:

Have it on good authority that Chow likes it in the NFL where the $$$ is good. Would have to be a very lucrative deal to woo him out of Tennessee. Also, I believe he would listen to any offers (who wouldn't) but if any college openings attracts him, it would be North Carolina State.

It's killing you inside b/c you know Koetter is a bad coach and allegedly didn't recruit as good as Stoop-id...and we still own your ass. Now we are going to get a better coach and recruiter to continue the ASU dominance.
