.... apparently Susan Lindauer is a spy.

You may have heard about this story involving a woman arrested yesterday for allegedly spying for Iraq, both before and after the overthrow of Saddam Hussein. That's Susan Lindauer, and she has quite a history. She has worked for four members of Congress, Fortune, U.S. News and World Report, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer and the Iraqi intelligence service. That's quite a resume. That's how it's being reported by the media, but let's look a little bit closer, shall we?

It turns out the four members of Congress that she worked for were all Democrats. She worked for some of them for a short time, and one says she doesn't remember her. Fine. But it's interesting how the media is not really reporting that she only worked for Democrats. The AP story initially reported that they were only "members of Congress." Anyone who doesn't believe the media is biased needs their head examined.

Can you imagine if she had only worked for Republicans? The media would be spinning on its eyebrows and demanding accountability, wondering what it all meant, and writing endless columns about spies working in the Republican party. Interesting how the news gets reported these days, isn't it?

Oh and by the way...when are we going to start executing people for treason?

I just skimmed your articles, but I didn't notice any mention of the real crux of the case against her. That would be her acting(or trying to act) as a conduit between Saddam's intelligence service and her cousin, Andy Card, the White House chief of staff. Nearly every article that i've seen has mentioned the 4 democratic congressmen that she has worked for. Come on, guy.

"the bunker"
this woman

this woman

is either totally insane or smart as a fox....i saw her on the news last night and she comes across as out of her mind.....screaming about being a peace activist.....and ranting and raving incoherently....

all these government officials and news agencies she worked for....and nobody thought this woman was a little "doozy pots?".....

i heard on of the news reports mention a competency hearing...... ....

it`s early, but,we could see a potential "diminished capacity" or insanity defense coming down the pike..

an excerpt from the article...

"The indictment said she met on two occasions in Baltimore in June and July with an undercover FBI agent who posed as a Libyan intelligence representative who was seeking to support resistance groups in postwar Iraq. It said she discussed the need for plans and foreign resources to support these groups.

According to the indictment, she continued to correspond with the undercover agent until last month and followed the agent's instructions to leave packages on two occasions in August in "dead drop" operations.

Lindauer, who was not immediately assigned a defense lawyer, faces up to 10 years in prison on the most serious charge and five years on the lesser charge if she is convicted, prosecutors said"......

there are also other charges pending against this woman....
she was also involved in skullduggery prior to the iraqi invasion and accepted over $10,000.00 from iraqi officials....

if they have the evidence that is stated on Drudge`s website, they ought to throw this moron in prison and throw away the key....

She looked like a kook. As they were leading her away she was grinning like a fool.

As for only working ffor Dems - maybe they had the best intelligence data :)
