I can't recall having gone against Maddux in a long time... hmmm, maybe never! I have passed or played him.
1- Why would I take the Braves?
The only reason I see is Maddux pitching, and the line's around -130 (suspicious).
2- Braves are honestly not hitting at all. Beat poor Montreal 2 of 3 and one game was v. Ohka (Okra). Had a tough time vs. Armas and last game were blown away.
3- Wood is on a pitch count. He's great at home/day game. Also great vs. Braves, but he'll probably do about 5-6 innings with the 80 pitch count (lots of strikes). Bring in relief Fassero(lefty)/Farnsworth. Braves struggling v. lefties so Fassero may be good in this spot for a couple of innings.
4- Javy Lopez is out, Maddux's catcher.
5- Cubs gotta do something after that loss at FLA in the 9th.
