jack e-mailed me about whether i will be holding the money for this highly anticipated contest between smurphy, happy hippo, kramer, etc....

as i told jack i half-heartily gave the okay in a joking way but then said i wouldn't be able to do it. but since it's only $20 a person we are talking about & i like the contestants that i know is in the contest, i would hold the money if that's what they want.

but i will only hold the money & not monitor the contest. whoever is running the contest should tell me who the winner is & and i would either send the winner a check or give it to them at a formal presentation (lol) at the superbowl party if there is one & if they attend.

but i haven't really been following the contest during the past 2 weeks, so i don't know how many people are in the contest, other than murphy, happy hippo, kramer, & badtothebone.

so if the contestants want me to hold the money, i will.....but there is a price...there is always a price...:mj07:... my fee is at least 1 cocktail per contestant whenever we meet....:142smilie.this fee can be negotiable...everything is negotiable..lol.

so if you want me to hold the money, whoever is running the contest should e-mail me a list first of the contestants with thei e-mail addresses & the deadline of when the money should be in....& i will then send out an e-mail with my mailing address.

good luck to all of the participants in this contest & remember to report your winnings to the irs....

thank you.

I suggest if the contest only has familar people (as it does now) then we just have all the losers send the winner 20 bucks when it's over. I don't think any of the current players are willing to welch on something like this.

As long as Hippo and Kramer agree, I think this is the easiest way to do this.

Obviously you didn't get the memo that we were
sending our entry fee with rolled pennies :mj07:
Al I think hippo is in charge of the paperwork so
if we can just get her out of bed long enough to
carry her load we'll be OK. :SIB
IRS :bigun:
Thanks for being the banker in this highly
anticipated NFL SHOWDOWN, although it is not a
BTJ PRODUCTION. :moon:
