Am I the only one that likes North Carolina tonight?

Line is -10.5. Davidson throttled Emery and damn near beat Maryland in the tourney last year, but to keep it in single digits against UNC tonight seems to me to be a mammoth task.

Anyone else have thoughts on the game?

Anything can happen. This is a road game. Would not be shocked if Davidson won straigh up.

davidson returns the whole team. UNC almost lost there opener last year laying 7 or 8 to winthrop (maybe wrong team). UNC trailed by DD most of the game but snuck out the win but no cover

not really a road game, game to be played in Charlotte nc, at Bobcat arena.
Hansbrough was questionable with thumb , but read in local paper today that he would go.
Davidson returns all starters, including Dale Curry's son.... the kid can really shot it..... and Carolina had trouble defending the 3 last yr.... but Carolina is way too strong inside for Davidson... unless Davidson is just lights out from 3 all game, dont see how they play inside the number.... 11.5 looks alittle scary, but I think Carolina covers the number :shrug:

treat this like a neutral site, so many unc fans in charlotte. heels pull away in 2nd half, too strong inside.

I had a lengthy chat with a fella today playing PLO about this game.

He claimed to be a UNC fan as I am and he thought the line would be between 28-32. I told him he's crazy and he needs to understand who Davidson is.

I told him that I'd project it to be around 15. Right now I'm seeing it at 11.5

I'd take UNC. As I told him I'd take UNC if under 15, and Davidson if Over 15.

i was hoping it'd move a bit more to about 13 but i took davidson at +11.5... these cats are gonna be ready for this game, they're not intimidated by anyone, this should be a great game to watch!

yeah, the number should be about 15 as BUCS said... then we'd have a better split probably. this early, we're about to see what both these teams are made of. either way, we can all take the #s and what we learn and make $ on both these teams this year!


can't wait to see davidson come to charleston on jan. 26 and these guys play my dukies on the 1st of dec.

This game could go either way so it's a no-play for me. I've followed the heels as close as possible after being in chapel hill for 9 years. Davidson has a good squad. I think carolina wins but I wouldn't be shocked if davidson pulled off the upset.

I'm not necessarily a fan of betting on teams who haven't played yet. Typically, if I do I take the dog.
