...this new "unbalanced" baseball schedule that puts an over-emphasis (IMO) on division games? It's almost Sept and here in Baltimore, Oakland and Seattle are just coming into town for the first time this year.

I hope they someday go back to playing all the teams a more equal number of times.

The games in the division are so much more meaningful, especially as the season winds down. Who wants to watch NYY play TX now when we have some series coming up, NYY against Bos??

The real value of the unbalanced schedule can be seen in Aug/Sept. Even teams that are out of the division races JUST love to screw over one of the top teams. For instance, how much would Balt love to stuff NYY??

I vote for the unbalanced schedule.

I have no problem with September division games because they are more meaningful....but in April-August I think I would rather see Oakland and Seattle come to town more than once instead of watching Tampa Bay in Camden Yards every other week....every other week is an exaggeration, but you get my point.

Also, on another scheduling issue, I miss the scheduled double-headers. But greedy owners pretty much did away with that.

Yeah, I certainly agree with the doubleheader thing......hey, don't want to give the fans anything, we already make them sit thruoght an incredibly bloated 162 game schedule, we added a round of playoffs, we eliminated doubleheaders....now, anywhere else we can screw the public.
