Why,

You just can't handle reality that Schilling and Johnson are the best pitchers in the MLB right??? There must be some reason as to why they are so dominant. . .

Nam, (last rites given by priest in mash unit),thieving bussiness partners stateside,& 3 divorces,Thats reality for you!!!

Not really a baseball fan...
just an opinion.........
played a little ball...
the expansion & the dh rule....
turned me off to the game...
but watch the game tonite with an open mind,
& I agree with you they dominate more than any but they as well as others look to me like they are doing it!

new strike zone has made these guys virtually unhittable. the high strike has helped these 2 guys as much as anyone in the game. especially now in october, it seems to be magnified exponentially. weather in the fifties and you have guys throwing 95+ with nasty sliders that drop off the table. i can see why their results look like they may be doctoring the ball but mlb decided that they wanted to speed up the game and call more strikes so now guys have to dig in against these guys knowing that a 95(or more) mph fball at the letters is a strike. the thing is even if you know it is coming, it is still almost impossible to do anything with a ball right there.not to mention the high slider getting called which may be even more unhittable b/c it looks like a high fastball out of the zone, then drops in at the letters while you sit there with your bat on your shoulder, shaking your head as one of the 20 hirschbecks behind the plate signals strike. these guys were great to begin with but now their hand is loaded. i know schilling and johnson havent been pitching in 50 degree weather right now, i meant when they do though it will be that much tougher than it already is.

Fair enough Why. . . I'll watch Schilling close tonight. . . wish I was at the game so I could watch him when the cameras aren't, but I'll see if there might be some truth to your allegations.

WHY?,

I don't have an opinion on the wet ball, but tickets to tonights game just fell in my lap so I will let you know what I see when the cameras are off

Not quite sure if I want to make that other bold call just yet, but + the 10.5 points sure looks tempting to me........

And since I am now going to the game.....

YANKEES + 120

small, tiny, miniscule....lol (also like the under but no play)

Thanks I have followed your posts & I
believe you to be straight up in your opinion.
If you watch with an open mind I think It will be obvious...although Johnson doesn't even try to hide it...you will be able to see it..with schilling

Thanks...Why?

WHY,

I left prematurely to see the amazing Yankee comeback, but walked in my home just in time to see 10th inning. Amazing and so happy for my yanks (and my miniscule play on them...lol)

I had my binoculars with me while at the game. I focused on Schilling every pitch he made. I gotta say, no evidence to support your suspicions. I give him credit for being the trooper he is. As much as I hate to say it, straight up, Curt is the real deal. He had my Yanks guessing all night, again.
