This is what was said about Ohio State 3 weeks ago and about Tampa. Defense still wins.

I can't wait to hear Peter Brown on Sporting News Radio. I think he still doesn't acknowledge Ohio State's win and he'll probably find some way to spin the Super Bowl that it wasn't Tampa's defense. He'll probably blame it all on the Oakland center being out.

Lately, it's been an underdog's world for championships and that makes the media "experts" look like fools and people start questioning their real worth. No people are more defensive or oblivious to reality than those people. The Bucs dominated from start to finish. It doesn't take a radio show to see that!

The fact of the matter is....offense gets you there and looks good during regular season games...but defense wins championships.

In a one game, winner take all, championship setting I WILL TAKE THE BETTER DEFENSIVE TEAM EVERY TIME. Speed, tackling, fundamentals never goes away. Offense execution can disappear and strange things start to happen.

The high powered Rams of four years ago won because they had the #5 defense. The had to realy on that defense in the Super Bowl (vs Tenn) and NFC Title (vs TB) game when they couldn't score 30+ points.

The public loves betting offense, I'll stand in the cashiers line with the defense.

I'm in total agreement on Defense wins championships. I was riding the bucs yesterday. As for osu, I guess I didn'y give their defense as much credit as they deserved, thus the loss of $$$ on that game.
