Fair Grounds form has been burying Gulfstream form.
This has really been evident at Keeneland and now Churchill and also Hawthorne. When a race has ship ins from both FG and GP, the FG have been toying with the supposedly superior Gulfstream animals. My guess is its the surface that they train and race over. Horsemen love the FG's deeper, more forgiving surface which seems to help the horses' conditioning. Gulfstream was very fast and speed favoring this year. When these speedballs get to a less speed favoring track like CD or Haw, they are tiring. The time is running out on this angle since the FG meet has been over for about a month now but there are some FG shippers in today at Churchill.
