Is it for sure? They are in?

asking because I posted this in week 1 thread....

prolly throwing money away, but just tried this one.

TENN TITANS TO WIN AFC +5000

weak conference now with peyton out. houston hasnt made me huge beleiver quite yet, although i do admit they are the faves.

titans with CJ and Hasslebeck could sneak in playoffs, and once that happens, anything is possible.

played very small but worth a shot

realize its a long shot, but fuck anything can happen...

Newenglands Defense can be had by anyteam...
Flacco is never a sure bet and hard to trust
ben isnt healthy and pitt looks bad in some games

dont think it has a real shot, but its cool knowing they have a chance...

No, Tennessee needs Cinncy to lose and Denver and Oakland to both win. It's pretty convoluted but basically Bengals own the tiebreaker with the Titans because they beat them earlier this year, but if it ends up as a 3-way tie for the last spot (which only happens if both Denver and Oakland win) then the head-to-head loss doesn't matter and Tenn gets in based on conference record.

So with both Denver and Oakland currently losing, it still doesn't look good for Titans.

There is not scenario where Tenn makes the playoffs. They are eliminated.

so this is an eroneous report from yahoo sports..

The Titans averted elimination with a narrow win at the Texans. Now they still need the Bengals to lose and both the Broncos and Raiders to win ? a scenario that would keep Oakland out of the playoffs.
