averaging all of 1 nba play a week, but since the last couple have gone well, im gonna step up and bet my 2nd nba game this week. caveat lector!

phoenix suns 1st quarter points under 28

pacers have shown very little nutsack over the last week and a half, but id like to think a 124-89 ass-beating they took at the hands of the suns last sunday convinced them that they stand zero chance of winning if they run up and down the floor with phoenix. i know indiana has really lacked defensive intensity lately, but im hoping this team has some pride (i think they do) and wont let phoenix drop 35 on them in the first 12:00 like they did on sunday en route to a 35-pt drubbing as well (and allowing 55% from the field too). dont have the confidence that indy can lock down phoenix the entire 48:00, but some east coast basketball the first 12:00 sure wouldnt hurt.

gman reconsider this please. suns will come out fired up tonight as coach D'Antoni has come under fire for wearing his starters out so early in the season. BS. the 5 starters do not even fit in the top5 as players used the most during a game.

thanks. appreciated the opinion but i was bullheaded on that one. even if phoenix had dropped 32 or 33 pts, i wouldnt have regretted it. indy actually did what they were supposed to do - defend their homecourt with some balls. just happy it worked out.

minnesota timberwolves 2nd half moneyline (+135)

they showed signs (at least in spurts) of breaking out of their funk. if they get garnett going, they win the game. and theyre finally playing some defense, which is encouraging too.
