USC and Texas also run the table???

Pretty impressed with VT's defense.......think they could give both USC and Texas a run for their money but wont happen if the other 2 are locks because of the BCS..........

Notta chance and also not deserved. This "D" is good I agree, HOWEVER, ACC and Big East good and not a match for the type of "O's" you reference. In fact, I think this low gear BC Offense posts 14-17 in the second half of this game.

Jusp my $0.02.

No chance to play if UT and USC run it which they will.

A team that goes undefeated in the ACC doesn't deserve a chance to play for National Championship???

You are a victim of the system my friend...

the system is what it is and has been for years.....be one of the 2 best teams by the end of the year to play in the bcs game, not just go undefeated, and then complain.

there is no chance vt jumps over sc....and a very minimal chance that they jump texas....

vt is more similar to uga/bama than they are sc/texas..... a pretty pedestrian offense with a defense that is fairly good (but vs ?offensive teams)

something as simple as a 4 team playoff would end the worst injustices. no reason at all that ANY team in a major conference that goes undefeated should be left out. Auburn clearly deserved a shot last year - they were probably as good as OK but we never got to find that out on the field.

if thursday covers are the standard for nat'l championships, then the hokies should be #1 in the bcs.
