Not from Minny but am from the North

This was from Monday's notes on College Football News site:

Minnesota
The Gophers received good news regarding the status of senior starting QB Asad Abdul-Khaliq?s injured left shoulder. Abdul-Khaliq injured the non-throwing shoulder late in the first half of Saturday?s win over Wisconsin and was unable to return. However, the shoulder is not separated and Abdul-Khaliq could be back in action for the team?s regular season finale at Iowa this Saturday. Head coach Glen Mason stated that senior backup Benji Kamrath would take the majority of snaps in practice this week, but, if healthy, Abdul-Khaliq would most likely start.

From Thursday's CFB news notes:

Minnesota
Senior starting QB Asad Abdul-Khaliq was back on the practice field Tuesday and Wednesday and stated that his injured left shoulder still isn?t 100 percent, but the severity of the injury isn?t nearly as bad as originally thought. Head coach Glen Mason declined to comment on Abdul-Khaliq?s status, but implied that the senior signal-caller may be healthy enough to compete during Saturday?s contest at Iowa.
