trying to keep the little one busy

besides

Her mom is more than enough

IO,
Due to the fact that I find you entertaining and a fellow Chicago fan. I am going to simply quietly step backwards out of this thread as the old FDC would have absolutely had a field day with the jokes that this contains, but this is the new and improved FDC. After traveling abroad I have tried to become a bit more senstive and compassionate towards our fellow man. However, I cannot assure anyone that this new found malevolence will last much past the the 2-4 hours hours that the pain pill I just took will last either. Knee is acting up. So try to refrain from setting yourself up like this. It is a bit much for a guy of my shrinking moral fiber to let go.
Hope this helps,
FDC

Very true AR

FDC

Thanks for the heads up...

I knew the possible fire I was walking into with gasoline soaked hair. But I'm very durable. Also, I figured pony tail would still be resting after a busy week of bilking his clients. :mj07:

Her mom has to work all day at the hospital, and this is REAL work keeping a kid busy. So I'll take the hits.

But the humor BETTER BE top notch and I better get some needed info to help me here.

else I'll look for my opportunities to vent later in the week when she is not here on weak stock posts.

Also told her, "I could ask my friends for more sites. Watch what they come up with."

(guess I should have thought better)

she is standing over my shoulder

Any forums on the net for kids (a 10 year old)

we got

funnyjunk
nick.com

any more

Why not take her to a park, or an aquarium or something else that will allow her to get out of the house and be active? I'm not saying it in your case, but think kids these days spend too much time on the internet and not enough doing the things kids should be doing.

I here ya Saint

she already brought up going to Navy Pier (downtown Chicago) and riding some kind of bike or something

I told her we will be going out for a hot dog in a couple hours. Just got back from breakfast.

The biggest problem is I have a few hours of work related things I have to do HERE today.

It's also extremely crappy outside here today.

I know the feeling, trying to get a couple of hours of something done and a kid who is bouncing off the walls! Good luck with that one :142smilie

One word of caution first..... create a dummy e-mail account and give it to her to use. There are various ways to get neopoints but many require an e-mail addy contact. BTW, let her know that the neopet never dies no matter how hungry it gets. :)

Thanks everyone!

Yesterday went well. I got done what I needed to and she was kept very occupied.

One thing though....

Definitely run your spyware stuff after you let the little ones run amuck!:com:

I will add the others to "her" folder for next time.
