hopefully, the powers that be allow this post ...
some of you might know I write as well as coach, but I recently finished a novel entitled THE QB
synopsis: TJ DART'S--a record breaking, maverick rookie QB--life is chronicled in series of flashbacks and live action (entire game played out) during the 24 hours of the 2005 Super Bowl. His estranged bookie dad owes the mafia 400K and they try to coherce him into getting TJ to shave points. There are numerous subplots, a Presidential assassination attempt, TJ's backstory with his Yoda/guru, and cameos from OJ Simpson, Adam Sandler, Michael Jackson, David Brenner, Art Donavan, , et al. (Spurrier is TJ's coach)
If anyone would care to read it to provide feedback or just like to see what it's about, email me at pt1gard@aol.com (put THE QB on the subject line, its a rather short novel) ... This is not my first effort, I have written tons of things, so I do think you guys would probably enjoy it, even those who don't like to read.
anyhow, thanks to all who might be interested ...
take care, gregg
ps bet rams even money to win the nfc west!
