I am doing a little research into a property........... I had a friend pull up the property details but I have a question the owner is listed but has another name and address for the tax billing ??????Could it be corperate ownership???? It appears the value of the home went up over 300,000 in the last 2 years due to additions . Everytime I pulled the property up in the last few years the seller remains the same so I am assuming that loans were taking and the property was re-assest and that is why there are so many settlements??? A new name has appeared that I don't recognize on the buyers name????? So now there are 3 buyers ?????CORPERATE ACCOUNT MAYBE????

How do I go about finding out who and what this property was re-assest at???? why would there be a different tax billing address ???? Who do I call to see if permits were in place for additions????? and can they tell me how much $$$$ was quoted for the additions????

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED ;) my friend is on vacation and I don't want to bother her THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!!

I second that LL, but to take it a step further I'd go to the building department and see if the permits were pulled and inspected.

ok here is what i got so far I called the county court house they told me who is on the deed but know one seems to be able to answer why the the taxes are directed to some one else.....????????

the property was re-assest at a much lower figure threw the county than what the property detail reads?????? I am assuming that the owner was looking for a tax break!!!!and got it........

next question while I am making phone calls on the side....................If you are a home owner and are building an addition, YOURSELF, YOU would be the person to obtain the permits RIGHT?????? since you are doing the work with some help of course . There would be NO WAY that you could say, for instance to a judge that you had some one else do it because YOU obtained the permits CORRECT?????

thanks for the help so far the phone calls I have made have helped alot!!!:D

Heaven, oh!!, this isn't it?!
TBonez,
Not really sure here what your after. Are you looking to put an addition on your place and want to get an idea of what you reassement may be? Or are you just a nosey neighbor:cool: ;) LOL! JK.
The tax bill could have any address, the Power of attorney, the agent for the owner, a trustee, etc. That probably explains that. However I am intrigued with the question about the Judge? A judge could look at this a number of different ways!
Need more info to comment on that, if you want it confidential just get my email from Jack and I will be happy to help you.
Franky:)

Alot of the time the builder, contractor pulls the permits and the permit lists the homeowner and the contractor who'll be doing the work, and depending on the work being done and the state in which the work is being done, the contractor may have to be licensed.

If you do the work yourself, then your name goes on the permit and the City/Town has to inspect the work as it goes.
