any thoughts on pettite for sunday?

thanks, i.e., i think i will pass (betting against him, that is). i remember last year el duque was doing lousy, came back in after a 15 day rest and fooled a lot of us, throwing some dandies for his next few outings.
about the only ray of light here looks like if he gets yanked early, even if pitching well, then a right hander (tampa's favorite side) will come in and blow it. come to think of it, that is not a bad chance at +220 or so.
gee, it looks like i talked myself into it after all. i may take a gander here, but skip the contest, as everything else is too low for my liking.

you and i posted right around the same time and i just saw your post.
no questioning your facts, but look for torre to baby him, maybe get 5 or so, lest he run into trouble with the man upstairs by allowing him to pitch for too long and risk screwing it up.
