yahoo....showed final score 85-71....

now i look and notice final 86-71?

which of course is bad for me.

Watched it on tv and the score there was wrong too until after the horn sounded. Asshole Pirates coach took a technical to blow the cover and they never scored it. Hall was the play, they hung for 35 minutes then the wheels fell off!

if that's the case, then the technical on SH is pointless. They shouldn't have gone on a dry spell to close the game. Hard to blame a last minute technical for not covering when they can't score period.

When you lose by 1/2 pt. by a technical foul that should never happen with 30 seconds left, I wouldnt say thats pointless. Sad part is, after the free throw, Hall missed 3 consecutive open jumpers to close it out. :142smilie

You're right. Pointless really wasn't the word I was looking for. Just hard to blame losing a bet soley on a stupid technical when their inept ability to score in the end is what really cost them.

The thing that pisses me off the most was the fact that the Pirates hung with the Cards for most of the game then just fell apart. I guess I was cashing my ticket before I should have. Just sucks.
