So. Cal
dal +5 = push instead of a win

call it a three
change it to a two
go to the replay
looks like a three, but its close
ruling on court stands
THEN
tnt decides to show a different angle that shows its clear as day it was a three

felt like i was watching an nfl game with some inept zebra under the hood.

Thought for sure that I was gonna get screwed on that somehow... thankfully I grabbed 5.5 right before tip... seemed like the refs had Portland all night... and I'm normally not one to complain about the officiating, but I do think there are certain games where the NBA comes in with an agenda... I can say with 100% certainty, that if I had Portland for the game, I would have been feeling confident as hell because it really seemed like the Blazers were getting all those little ticky tack fouls and seemingly innocent calls that can affect the outcome of the game ever so slightly while the refs were overlooking some obvious fouls that would have gone in Dallas' favor. That blown call on the review of the 3 was just another example of many where it just seemed that the NBA was determined to get Portland the win.

Sorry you got jobbed on that call gjn... this, to me, is a great example of how important having multiple outs is and having the luxury to find the best line in your favor.

agreed on the refs Deezy - had no action on the game so this is an unbiased opinion

the call that i remember most re: this situation was in the 1st half on a dump-off by Marion( i think) to Haywood (i think) where the passer barely touched the defender before the dunk and was called for an offensive foul

plenty of other (extremely subtle) instances but when i saw that call i pretty much knew that the Blazers were going to win the game at the very least

EXACTLY Burns.... Another one I can think of was that blatant over the back non call on a Camby putback where Kidd clealy had him boxed out of the lane. I think that I'm now going to wait till halftime on some of these games where its clear that it's going to sway a series one way or the other. Seems like the logical thing to do when you can easily discern early on which way the refs are leaning.
