This team is something else - get rid of the stars - Payton, Cassell, Allen and Big Dog

Turn into a team this year - play well together....

Only 3-2 so far, but everyone thought they'd be one of the worst teams in the NBA this year.... with blowout wins on the road in Indiana, at New York, and the Bulls at home... and played the Lakers tough last night...

There were a nice moneyline play for me tonite.

Oh yea, they are 5-0 ATS so far this year.... Vegas has not adjusted the line yet for these guys... but they will take notice soon, so they may not be a bargain for long....

Get 'em while they are cheap!

You know I don't play the Bucks because I can't be unbiased about them, but yes, Mags, I have noticed them. I am not lying when I tell you that I told and friend of mine who follows the NBA as closely as I do that I predicted the Bucks to be one of the best teams in the East along with New Jersey & Indy. I must say that they have even impressed me, and I am always a huge optimist with this team. The real insult in my opinion was Sports Illustrated picking them to finish dead last in the East. This is a very, very strong team and they made great acquisitions in the offseason in Jones, Strick & Skinner.

Also, Chioma & I will be in town for my cousin's wedding around Christmas. If you want to, shoot me an email at nick_douglas@mac.com and I will try to sqeeze in some time to head out to Third Street or wherever else a party animal like yourself goes ;).

On the course!
It's still a little early, boys. They have looked good, but they haven't played many games, and the teams they've beaten are not world beaters.

The "overs" will have a little value for a few more days, I think. Last night's number was 170, and that was 50 points less than the total scored the night before with the Mil/Laker game! That play was like stealing. I stayed away, because it was a road game for the Bucks, but hindsight has me kicking myself.

Don't fall in love with these guys just yet......

Made 4 over plays for the season. I have them (Mil) on a season over also (28 MVP & Pinnacle) I also took Utah on an over 23.5 at Pinnacle) And took Denver at over 27.5 at Pinnacle. So far, so great . There, now that I have jinxed all three.................... My fourth play was Miami at over 35, pretty much looks like it is gonna be down the tubes quickly and painlessly, which is the best way.
GL to those 4 & everyone else.

slow down boys.

hell, the pittsburgh pirates have started out hot in baseball the last 2 years and then went in the tank.

theres not a whole lot of talent on that milwaukee team imo.

its gonna take ford awhile to develop.
tim thomas is a slightly better version of darius miles (both have WORLDS of athletic talent, but inexplicably underachieve year in and year out)
micheal redd is a nice complementary player, but he's not built to carry the load.
mason is a bright spot.

nick- no offense but brian skinner blows. got a chance to watch him in cleveland and hes a bum. theres a reason hes been with 4 or 5 teams in 4 years.

i always like to see teams play hard. its refreshing. and the bucks have done just that. i definitely give credit where credit is due. however, i dont see them being anything but the worst to second worst team in the east when its all said and done. miami is the only team possibly worse

gman, all due respect but most everyone that has played in Cleveland the last 7+ years has sucked. hopefully, that will change this year but they better learn to guard.

then most leave and blossom with other teams. I'm not sure what the deal is there but is sure seems like the case.

I think it's amazing in the NBA how fast people are to jump off of teams when they trade supposed Superstars. give me 5-7 hungry players that have been 8-9 off the bench most of their career, and see how they go after the chance to star.

now, later in the season when the legs get heavy might be a different story. but, a team like the Bucks will challenge most teams they play because they're getting a chance to show what they can do.

just my opinion;)
