Looking for a new place to travel. Opinions on resorts, beaches, food and getting around the island. How does it compare to Mex, Jamaica or DR? Thanks!

Was there 18 years ago on a stopover with Carnival Cruise, great beaches and food with crazy ass drivers.....:0008
the abacos - marsh harbor, treasure cay, green turtle, little harbor, hope town, all are excellent places for island hopping. fly into miami or ft Lauderdale fairly cheaply, then hop a shuttle to marsh harbor. from there, rent or charter a boat and go explore.

Shitiest Islands in The Caribbean and i have been to almost all of them flat and boring and way over priced... Antigua St. Maarten Guadaloupe Martinique Curacao Aruba and my personal fav Puerto Rico been there 3 times almost 4 months each time..
We got married at the Sandals in the Bahamas. I liked it but it we like Jamaica better. We did like walking around Nassau which is a lot easier to walk around than Montego Bay IMO.
We love it and have for awhile. Baha Mar is another huge resort that is going up and will be done soon ( probably this year) and will bring 2,200 more rooms so the prices for staying there should go down.
Stopped at Nassau on a cruise ship lasted about an hour & went back to the ship. I'm sure outside of that area is a hell of lot nicer. The place I really like is Bermuda also on a cruise ship stayed for 5 or 6 days. Great place ! We don't do all inclusive resorts because we don't drink so it would be a waste . Enjoy wherever you are going !
