syracuse is the biggest public play of the tournament so far? i say that both subjectively and objectively.

numbers support it on consensus sites (the cuse is damn near 80% on some boards)

and it seems like everyone is making their "biggest play of the year", "emptying their account on", or "hammering" the cuse.

and that line look strange. you gotta figure that everyone and their brother feels even stronger about the cuse because its a "pseudo-home game" for them.

and the line is only 5 with all that being factored in.

maybe its me- but auburn is clearly playing with a chip on their shoulder, and they looked pretty damn good vs st.joes and wake forest.

and that line AINT MOVING. its sitting right there on 5.

any syracuse backers starting to have second thoughts?

im really considering pulling the trigger on auburn.

its like the albany-angle is really played out and its obviously factored into the line, yet its still at 5.

have to agree...loved the cuse, but actually might throw a significant wager on Auburn at this point...that being said, since i only pick losers, all cuse backers should thank me now

mmhh... Auburn, I remember the St JOe's game, I was playing St Joe's at Half time i was done, but, Auburns shows nothing in the second part and then I recover another hope in that game, then St Joe's were rolling all over Auburn with a minute and half remaining in the OT, and then St Joe's relax and took very bad shots, and no one was shot by the hot hand man of the night by St joe's, they failed all the shots, and then Auburn comes back giving the ball to the hot hand player!!!! come on Auburn was done!! well.

The game vs WF, they were down at the second half, with moreorless 7 minutes remaining, and then they show up again and kills WF and Howard. Today I think is a different game, very different, Syracuse is hungry because while younger you are, hungrier you are, more in college sports, the motivation is the X factor on the game, with the union of a well coached team, without egos and with a disciplinary mind, I think is a real deal to take care, maybe the big shooters of Auburn can do their thing, but Syracuse can play defense and create more offensive, that's my rational thinking, Auburn is a good cinderella, but today they are Vs a comeback team who do not care what is the circunstance or situation, they will play to win and nothing else!!

As soon as they won against OK State, I expected a double digit line vs Auburn. When it opened, and it was at I believe 5.5, and 5 most places, I made up my mind to play the 'Cuse in their back yard. I know that Syracuse is not unbeatable, but I like them to roll tonight. I look for Carmelo Anthony to have a big game, especially because he had mediocre games by his standards scoring only 13 against OK State, and 17 against Manhattan. Look for a 20 plus performance tonight.

thanks for the replies so far.
hate to use taboo phrases such as "trap" or "get sucked into", but this line clearly is asking for one-sided action. the game is played on the court, and auburn could very well get drilled, but simply saying that this line looks wacked- and im seein people "unload accounts" - which is always a red flag for a given side. but for those who are overexposing themselves on this game, gl guys. cuse is certainly capable of a blowout win. but not sure if there are "freebies from vegas"

Gman-

I totally agree. The line seems off. Vegas is begging for Cuse money. I really dont think that Cuse team is that good. Now I dont think Auburn is very good either...

Still, if I play this game, it will have to be Auburn, no way I back an 80% public play.

Good luck!

Has Redick stopped shooting yet?

gman,

I already bought my bet back.

Somethin' ain't kosher in the synagogue.

Besides, the 'Cuse dint look too sharp against Ok State and if the Cowboys coulda' hit the broad side of the barn, the 'Cuse wouldn't be playin' tonight.

A "W" in the SU and ATS column doesn't really tell the whole story.

Somethin' tells me the 'Cuse and their HC are resting on their laurels.

It' always been my observation during the tourney that when in doubt go with the dog. Coming into this tourney I had Syracuse entering the Final Four on my bracket, but once the matchup was set between them and Auburn my mind has since changed. The 5 pts are bonus, this game will come down to a final second shot.
