Somewhere in Corn Country
They are booking 3 day vacations out of Duluth MN $199 for flight and 2 nights stay. Not a long time but has anyone experienced it? Do they have sportsbooks. I suppose I could call. Any info would be appreciated

Stopped in Wendover on a drive to the Bay Area 20 years ago. Then it was a dusty, tumbleweeds everywhere truck stop.
Have no idea what its like now. I did win 15 bucks playing Keno while eating breakfast, though.

Same here. Drove over from Salt Lake. Boring town but the craps tables were kind so I didn't give a shit.

There are 5 casinos in Wendover which you can ride a shuttle to each one in less then 5 minutes. The Montego Bay has recently updated their sports book and poker room, The sports book has 15-20 TV's. Across the street at the Nugget They use William Hill lines. Weekends are packed and its a good time, weekdays it looks like a ghost town.

Don't try and change the subject young man.....:nono:

About 10 years ago I chose not to fill up somewhere east of the salt flats, regretted it for the next 100 miles. I ran out of gas with Wendover in sight and managed to coast for a mile and off the offramp and all the way to the pump. It was a fantastic moment for me. :0008

Where it is real F ing COLD
Very strange place for a holiday.

Its actually 4 days and 3 nights. Flight and hotel $199 from Fly out on a Tuesday and fly back on a Friday. It's something to Ponder for us northern folk. I would imagine it would be nice and warm there Nov 4, could be warm here too, then again there could be 3 feet of snow on the ground.
