anyone ever looked into this

i have been looking into the over-under wins for a season. when a team gets over the number bet against that team when they are a favorite. talking any minus money even -102 and so on. overall it is 13-14 and teams -125 and lower are 4-10. has anyone ever looked at this or am i wasting time.
