Anyone get screwed on last nights Hou-Cin game.....

I saw a 2-2 tie called in the sixth inning.........my book says I lost the bet because after 5 1/2 innings the astros were down 2-1..........How can you lose a game that is still going on and the winner isnt even decided???????

They say in the rules posted the winner after 5 1/2 innings is the winning bet. Since Cincy was up 2-1 after 5 full innings then they are the winning side.......Hard to figure this one...........

It's the rules. How can it be fair for Houston's extra half-inning to count when Cincy didn't get the oppurtunity to bat in the 6th?

I believe suspended games revert back to the score of the last last full inning played....

This happened to me some years ago...I had The Marlins as big dogs versus The Braves... Marlins were leading after 8 innings....
in the top of The 9th in Miaimi , Atlanta took the lead , but heavy rains came and the game was suspended..

I got the win because the Marlins were leading after the last full inning played.

Yup, those are the standard Vegas rules. From certain perspectives, I understand, it doesn't seem fair. But, this rule has been in palce for as long as I can remember............it wasn't just made up for this game. So, one has to accept it. Tough break, tho,guys, it sounds like something that usually would happen to me, but I didn't have a play in the game. Better luck to you next time.
