I know, but when it is planned and hopes are high, you just go through with it when you have kids. An inch will be fine to him being on his snowboard. Not really, but you know what I mean. They have a decent base, so should be fine. Thanks hawkeye. I am looking forward to some skiing as well, spring skiing is what it is. I have skied in shorts before, one day 25 degrees, next day 70 in spring in Colorado.
Damn, sore legs this morning after first day skiing yesterday. What a day, 65 degrees, packed powder for 90% of slopes and well groomed. Take the jacket off and skied in t-shirts. Sun is intense, but there is nothing like spring skiing. Sunny and 70 expected again today, heading up in an hour. Vail is not for the light-hearted wallet though. You all will appreciate this.....two 16 ounce gatorades and one 16 oz bottle of water.....on the mountain $17.85. :scared

Pretty cool, in a crowd of maybe 150-200 an hour ago, met Picaboo Street and saw Lindsay Vonn as well. Vail was celebrating Lindsey Vonn for her World Cup Championship. She won women's downhill in Vancouver for those that don't know, but has won 53 World Cup Races, shooting for record all-time of 63. Son and I were sitting at Apres Ski place right next to Picabo's table and had no idea who she was by looking at her. Knew her by name only. Lindsey was there celebrating international girls skiing program and on the slopes today and tomorrow. Lindsey looked AMAZING, and she is fine in jeans. So did Picabo. Just saying.

Wild stat of the day, Lindsey and Picabo both admitted to having been clocked at over 100 MPH on skis. Fawk!
