Anyone have a GoPro?

Which would you recommend? I don't take a lot of videos but thought it would be good on vacation. The price is right of the intro one.

I have the GoPro Hero 3+ and I love it. I have to say that it takes awesome video and photos, but I've really only used it on vacations, so maybe 2-3 times a year at the most. If you're gonna drop the cash on one of these, I'd recommend getting the new one with the screen on the back. It will make things a whole lot easier for you. With all previous models including mine, you have to sync up a smartphone to the gopro wirelessly to see what camera is capturing in the shot.

Can you edit the film you take with one of these ?


I want something with that capability.

The software comes with the GoPro is pretty decent as far as editing goes. I'm sure more advanced users would say it sucks, but for a basic user it definitely gets the job done.
