Went out looking at some pool tables today and came across what I perceive as one of those too good to be true deals. It was at a reputable showroom, they have 6 or so stores in the area and they carry all the top name stuff, so its not some fly by night situation. Anyway the sales guy tries to sell me on something called a cashable voucher (I think thats the company name too, at least that is what their web site is) program that works something like this. The tables had two prices on them, list and sale, so say list was $3,000 and sale was $2,200. He claims the way this program works is if you agree to pay list instead of sale, and keep it for 3 years, in 3 years you send in the rebate form, your receipt etc with all your information, you get 100% of your money back. It sounded so good to be true I left, he said theres a web site somewhere I can check out but I havent yet. Anyone heard of anything like this?

never heard of it, but I would take a stab and say you will get the FULL amount back if you trade it in and use it towards a newer, better pool table next time around.

Nope the way he explained it was it was a total cash refund of 100%. Anyway if anyone in the DC area has used Champion Billiards let me know.

On the course!
I tried a search, and couldn't find anything on that "voucher". Can you give a little more info?

try this link- looks to be a very complex set of rules to be followed and they know that a high percentage of people won't follow the criteria
