Anyone (honestly,now) take Fla in April?

Anyone here really have them to go all the way at the beginning of the season ?? What odds did you get? Did you back off any $$ with the Yanks at today's line of+120 or so to win at all?
Well, it certainly wasn't me, even tho they are my local team, I played the under 76 season wins! They have done as much with as little talent as I have ever seen. Congrats to this bunch of (now) young studs.

I thought they had the players to at least make a run at the wild card, but I honestly assumed unless they were ahead of the Braves at the break (which I didn't think could happen), Loria would start selling off Pudge and Lowell. The best part of this whole thing, at least to me, was that they actually stuck it out and didn't have a fire sale. I figured it was a foregone conclusion that Lowell would be a Yankee or a Cub by August.

Just shows what pitching, defense and speed can do. Fortunately for Marlin fans, this group may be together for a while. If Burnett can come back next year, lookout.
