next year?

next year?

thought he threw the shorter routes fine but the deep balls were ducks. kinda feel for the guy with all the hell he's taken all year. wonder if he will be the guy next year for the bears.

What was an embarassment was a good coach and talent evaluator sticking with this joke just because he was doing what most pig headed coaches do and try to show people that they are right.
The best thing to come out of this for the bears is you have to end this situation now. They could get Garcia r now and forget about Grossman. This kid is brutal and a mistake waiting to happen. Fumbled snaps, tripping over his own feet. A complete waste of time. You can't start the season with him again and if you do you deserve to lose.

Sponge,

Good points, if every fan in the US knew this was going to happen, why did L Smith stay stubborn. Remember Belichick with Brady vs. Bledsoe. He went against the old cunard that you stick with the starter no matter what. Lovie blew it and this guy sucks now and always will.

Rodger just look at his passes. You always have to twist back to get them. Rarely hits anyone in stride. He throws the bomb which anyone can do. You throw it long and receivers adjust their speed to get it. Not a hard pass at all to throw if you have arm strengh to do it. He is a below average quarterback at best. If he would have somehow had a good game they would have been stuck with him for another year. This Indy defense isnt the greatest either and he stunk it up. I never thought id ever see a superbowl quarterback play as bad as Big Ben did last year but this might have topped it. No, no might, it did.

I always thought this was very curious........Grossman's college coach......Steve Spurrier had a golden opportunity to draft Rex in the first round when he had absolutely no QB at Washington........he has on the guy.........I remember thinking to myself......if he had any promise or talent ......Why wouldnt Spurrier want the guy...............NOW WE KNOW WHY........

should of stick Kyle Orton in, at least he would listen! just hand the ball off. Well hopefully Phily stays in love with Garcia so maybe the bears can snatch up McNabb . Would love to see how this team does with a decent QB.

denverpost.com:

" . . . At Dolphin Stadium the Bears mostly played like Porpoises. They were all wet.

Through three quarters the Bears and the Colts had committed six official turnovers and a dozen more bad things of the unofficial variety. The performance was uglier than Prince's suit. But it was still a contest at 22-17 Indianapolis early in the final quarter.

Chicago quarterback Rex Grossman, at that juncture, had the most misleading quarterback rating in the history of organized football - 104.5. There would be correction. Bear market . . ."
