The dodgers are definetely barking at me at +135
Perez WHIP of .75 and given up 1, 2, 1 in last 3
Wood coming off of bad outing
Dodgers pen has been excellent
With the exception of the schlacking the the cubs gave reuter Cubs have hit lefties very poorly
Any thoughts always welcome

I like LA, too, today. Being in Chicago, the local line always shift toward home teams so I got +150. But at ++135, 140 I think it's still a good play. No way would I lay 150, 160 on a terrible offense like the Cubbies. They've only scored 5 or more runs 6 times this year.

Good luck.

I will be going on the under on this one. I have looked closely this morning on this and think the best play is neither team. Last night I liked Wood and the Cubs but after reading all of these LA plays I will just take UNDER.

From COVERS

LA is 6-1 in game one of a series overall.
The under is 3-0 when Perez starts in the day.
Perez's last five starts overall played under.
The under is 5-1 in the last six meetings.
The over is 3-1 in Wood's last four starts overall.
The over is 7-2 in the Cubs last nine overall.

I am also playing the Dodgers today

Like those stats for LA
I did pretty well last year going under the high totals and over the really low ones at Wrigley. I think the weather is a little overblown because the wind blowing in can create errors and overs on the really low totals yet the cubs don't really have the firepower beyond Sosa to go over the high ones--my two cents
GL in your plays today

I LOVE THE CUBS!!!! But I think the price is too high here. I would love to diagree with yall, but I can't. Perez at +130 and beyond is a good deal. My book has the total at 7....I still liked it at 7.5, but not at 7. Not much cushion for things that happen during a windblown game that's not the pitcher's fault......I'm playing small on the Dodgers......ya gotta have balls or inside info to play under 7. Particularly with Wood, who is a lot like the girl with the curl.......I've almost talked myself into over 7. I'm done rattling, sorry about that. Good luck everyone.

It's really not that windy here at all, at least not enough to force a fielding error or blow a fly ball out of the park, IMHO. In fact, a ENE wind direction would be blowing in from center. The temp is mild at around 50, sunny and ideal for baseball.

At 7, it's just not worth going for either way, IMHO. Very little room for error on the under, but the game could very well end up 3-2, 2-1, or the likes.
