There is a "100% chance" of thunderstorms for that game. Not my quote, got that off the net. However, if you have seen images on TV of Northern California it is UGLY up there right now. Raining and flooding like a bastard. Seems to point to a low-scoring sloppy game, but could also point to turnovers. Thoughts?

Seriously?! My bad. What I saw on the news last night looked awful. I assumed it was going to keep going for a while. Used to live in CA myself. Not the Bay Area though, the Central Coast.

Rcxslam,

I was leaning to the under because of the weather. But apparently it's not as bad as it was. Also, I don't see the Giants rolling up the points in this one. They seem to play down to the level of their competition on the road. And even with the injuries on D, I think NY will step up and play good D considering what is at stake. Not a strong play or anything, just a lean.

I'm that way with overs gjn. I can't hit one to save my life. That's why I ended up not betting on the Northwestern/UCLA over yesterday. Had I bet on it it would have been a 10-7 game. I'm convinced.

Well for everyone in the Bay Area I hope it doesn't hit you too hard. There were actually some pretty bad floods where I lived in CA in the mid-90's. Go figure. In California it won't rain for years but when it does... lock up the women and children!

Well this game is obviously going to be a shootout. Neither defense really looks to give a shite about stopping the other. Still not sure how it can be a perfect night weatherwise when there were supposed to be thundershowers???

I think I'm with you on that one. Watching this game is painful. I was hoping for a possible hedge scenario with a second half total bet, but this game will probably be around 30 points at half. So much for a good hedging opportunity.
