I like Rhode Island at home tonight but the line has gone from +2 to -2 at my book. Jeebus, is there anyone NOT on URI? Kind of worries me. Thoughts?

Lavendar is out for Xavier... he's their floor leader and not sure how well the X-men will play without him. Also, RI has been solid @ home and really need this game to impress the selection committee.

Thanks fellas. DD, is it for sure that Lavender is out? That would explain the jump at my book. Not too long ago it was a pick, then I check a few minutes ago and it's -2. Seemed like a pretty fast jump...

Just have to throw this in...

One of the books I use has a little tidbit section when you submit a wager. The funny thing is they are the most ridiculous comments you will ever see. For instance, this is what it said earlier...

"Everybody Bets: 100 % of the
action is on Xavier to win
straight up."

Yeah, I'm sure not one person has placed a wager on Rhode Island despite the fact the line has shifted FOUR points. :mj07:

GQ - I likely use the same book as one of mine. They only recently started doing that I believe (within the last few months). Anyway, I never understood why they put that up there. Like someone is going to change their mind or bet more because they saw that. Perhaps there are people that let that influence them, but if that's the case, their account will be dwindling pretty quickly.

Yeah, they are usually some pretty wacky comments. I like when a team is an 8 or 9 point dog and you get a comment that says something like "87% of the bets are on 'the dog' to win straight up." Yeah, no.

It's a small book and there are a lot of things that are lacking, but it also has some good perks as well. I used them quite a bit 2 or 3 years ago, and just started using them again.

Still a long way to go but it certainly looks good for Xavier backers. This could be another one of those, "when everyone's on the same side they end up losing" type of games...

most people were on Xavier the line move was strictly because of Lavender.

Well if Xavier keeps hitting 65% of their FG's including 75% of their 3's and 90% of their FT's, it's safe to say the Musketeers will win.

Too bad I'm backing Rhode Island.

Did you get that from a consensus site? I never saw any actual numbers but I had a hard time finding people that were on Xavier, yet I saw tons of people on URI.

I think this one's over. Xavier is too good to blow a double-digit lead IMO. I was going to take them in the 2h but I think the value may be gone now that they're up by so much. Boo.
