Team postal laid the hammer today and decimated the field on the climb to La Mongie. Ulrich was wasted at the start of the climb and all the pretenders where left in the dust. It was amazing to see the attack today I figured tomorrow would be the deciding day to see who came to play this year. But once again we have seen the Greatest Athlete on the face of the earth make everyone else look like boys compared to the Man. Truly amazing what this man has done and maybe one of the greatest accomplishments in sports history to say the least if he is to win his 6th straight yellow jersey. Armstrong should be wearing yellow by the end of the weekend. If you haven't watched any of it yet I suggest you take a peek on OLN to see what these ridres truly go thru.

I've been missing out on it since I've been at work while they ride --- hopefully I can catch a replay tonight.

I was expecting a big move by Lance tommorrow, and it looks like he made it even earlier. He's going to look good in yellow on Sunday!

It will be worth the watch it looked like ullrich was going to attack on the descent after the first climb but team postal reeled him in and then destroyed him on the climb to La Mongie. Ullrich made a critical mistake he seperated himself from his teammates on the descend and he paid for it. The last 10 km on the last climb The man laid the hammer and left everyone else in his wake except Basso. Truly an amazing day to say the least.

Neverteaseit, this is kinda :topic: But I saw Armstrong interviewed and he was with Sheryl Crow in France staying with him.

What happened to his marriage, I thought he was happily married with a couple of kids, one just recently born, I thought.

What's up with that

Lost in Texas
I saw a special on Lance Armstrong and they mentioned his divorce. I thought he lost a nut because of cancer, not the old lady. :poke He's hooked up now with Sheryl Crow and she don't look so hot in interviews without her makeup. :scared

Ya -- Lance got divorced a while ago, right after his second book came out I believe. (the one that talks about how important it is to be a family man)

I just hope Miss Crow isn't getting in the way of his focus :142hump:

"the bunker"
the guy is a monster....one of the greatest athletes of our time,imo........

i just heard that some members of the french press broke into his hotel room looking for evidence of doping.....now armstrong is worried that they may attempt to plant something.....

this guy may be the single most potent source of american retribution on the two-faced french....they hate and resent him with a passion, from what i`ve read.....

anyone that`s had any dealings with cancer in their family(and that`s most of us),know what an inspiration this guy is.....

goooooooooooo lance.

ctown, lance was seperated from his wife for sometime in the past few years they tried to work things out several times but sometimes it just happens. still this does not take away from what he has accomplished.
