Rare for me to get involved in-running, but there was a big am/pm split in this event yesterday...
Of the top 30, only 7 played in the afternoon, and six of those are at the lowest range of scores. The only late starter in the top 10 is Janice Moodie. She was 22/1 at the beginning of the event and is now 14/1 at Centrebet...I left her alone prior to starting as she got married over Christmas so I assumed she hadn't been working on her game as much!! She is at-4, only two shots off the lead.
Of the other late starters in the top 30, I backed Monnet pre-event at 50/1, but have topped up at 80/1, and added Shani Waugh at 66/1, both on -2.
Weather looks to be similar, perhaps even a little worse for Friday, hopefully they'll be tucked away in the clubhouse after good early rounds!
