Anyone with thoughts about America Online..Would anyone agree it would be a good buy now for a small investor...Thanks

There are much better companies out there to start your portfolio with. AOL has performed very well for its investors in the past. But, that does not say anything for the future. I think Microsoft is still the company to own. I work in the computer industry in Atlanta. I am on the sales end, but all of the computer guys talk about Microsoft's next product dominating the market. They say that it is going to put a hurting on Oracle. That is unfortunate because that is my largest holding.
