How many people on board never got dad's belt?
I have nothing but sympathy when I see an adult frustrated female in public
TRYING to reason with a 6 year old throwing a tantrum......
Two weeks ago I saw such an event in a near empty grocery store. Mom was simply at wits end after trying to reason with a screaming 5 year old boy.
By the look on her face, (she wanted to discipline the child) I think she realized she was in a public location and there could be a politically correct "thought policeman" nearby.
She saw me passing by,we made eye contact, I simply said "Whack him good, he's got it coming, I saw nothing" I continued down the aisle and heard a good solid "WHACK" from the butt area.
Kid shut up, I continued shopping with a very clear conscience..
Without fear of parental firm guidance (obviously within reason) what leverage does a parent have these days? Your not going to reason with a squalling 5 year old who may still be wearing depends.

I got the belt a few times growing up :shrug: My kids have not, their mom works for Childrens Protective Service plus they are really good anyway, SMH it figures I drafted him this year in fantasy ff and this shit happens :facepalm:
