doesn't solve the problem..
they are simply not good enough to win it all with or without a vet at QB.

i was hoping you guys would get marc bulger......i really think theres aenough talent left on your roster that a guy like bulger could make the vikings and interesting and somewhat dangerous team to watch....

They could bring in Joe Montana and this team is going to struggle.
OL pass blocking is a complete Joke.
DL is thin with the Williams boys out first 4 weeks assuming Pat resigns cheaply.
No wide receivers other than Harvin who should be slot guy.

Now I am on a tangent.. It's time to blow this team up, get younger and go... We are setting up for a long time of misery with this roster.
1. The O - Line either sucks or it has aged. McKinney has been a shell of himself for years, Hutchinson is old, O'Sullivan is the bottom 5 centers in the league, Herrerra coming off surgery, and Loadholt is over weight but have not given up on him.
2. Jarred Allen is the most over rated player in football. I would trade his ass now. Allen is dominated by decent tackles, only mops up on rookies or injury replacements or when the Vikes have a big lead. If the game is close, he is nowhere to be found.
Rest of D - Line is aging.
3. Adrian Peterson - IMO the best running back in football stuck in this shit. As much as I hate to say it, try to get the most for him and let him go too. He is going to want a shitload of money next year and we don't have a line to help him. If you get a new line then keep him.
Toby Gerhart should be moved to FB, I am faster than him and that is no lie.
4. Secondary-- mmm lets see, Medieau Williams will be gone at safety cause he sucks, Terrell Johnson will be at safety and he does suck. Winfield at corner is old but productive. Cook and Griffin have potential but always hurt. Secondary needs help bad.
5. LBs well Lieber will probably be gone, EJ in the middle is old and backup jasper Brinkley is a dumb bell. Chad Greenway is a franchise all pro but they are going to pay the guy over 10 million to make tackles, he is not the type of LB that makes the big play, he is just steady and I guess since every other player on the team sucks, steady mean super star? Kind of like Joe Mauer, pay a guy 20 something million dollars to hit singles. I love Mauer just like Greenway but want more bang for the buck.
6. WR... Rice going to Seattle, Barrian will need to restructure deal but was pathetic last year. Harvin is good but is ideally the slot guy. No other wides worth mentioning.
7. TE - Strong position with Shiancoe, Kleinsasser, and Randolph. Will be in double tightend sets a lot this year,
8. QBS Mcnabb, Ponder, and Webb.. At least there maybe a future here.
With the new QB and Ponder waiting in the wings this team needs to get young. Lots of aging stars on this team.. O line will be the ultimate killer
