no play here yet, but just wanted to point out that the complexion of the wolfpack team will change considerably tonight with the regular season debut of "the big yurt," 7 foot turk omer yurtseven. yurtseven just finished serving a 7 game suspension imposed by the ncaa for some b/s reason relating to playing some semipro ball in Europe. im going to the game and will try to post later from the rbc center.it will be interesting to see how the wolfpack transitions to his presence, both on offense and defense. there is already some grumbing among the wolfpack loyalists after the last 4 games that include a loss to Illinois and close wins against small conference teams tenn st, boston, and loyola.

here's play I just put in - coc +3 @ ecu. coc clearly the better team imo, won in Charleston last year, this year coc is better and ecu worse. coc much better on defense, and the 119- total suggest that defense will be a factor tonight. I split my bet with half on the +140 ml.

coastal Carolina +11-: this line looks out of line also. auburn not that good, just lost to acc bottom dweller bc in nyc, now have suspended g Bryce brown and f Horace spencer for weed possession. also g tj lang is coming back off a knee injury and is not expected to be 100%. this is significant as auburn works off a 10 man rotation so someone is going to have to pick up extra minutes tonight. loss of spencer is especially significant as tigers are already shorthanded inside, and, although this is not supposed to be an up year for coastal, one thing they excel at is rebounding, outboarding opponents by more than 8 rpg.
