ramblings:

1 mil@Phil
Phil faces lefty for back-to-back, hitting 'em fairly well this year and preferred 'em last year. Narveson seems the better at this stage and wasn't horrible in his last save for the bone-head loss of control in the 2nd (yes...had a piece). Mil goes from facing magical Cy Doc righty to facing mystical lefty Cy Lee. Brewers are not hitting lefties well, so far, and preferred the other arm last year; I remember 3 or 4 years ago Brewers were majorly better vs L but the more things stay the same, the more they change (same was true for Jays, and some others, but Jays e.g. were putrid vs L last year).

ump Barrett a better K-zone than McLelland, Tuesday's, so Narveson may regain his control and keep his team in it. Impossible for me to go vs Phil at home with Lee but price is not nice. Runline an outsider unless we see a spanking Tuesday.

Not sure what's happening here, what with the ppd. Preferred Cubs with Garza-Harang, mostly due to Padres--again--comical offense.

3 sf@Col
Need to see what takes place Tuesday. Cain's in his prime years and he's pitching like it, early on. DLRosa can be a bit of a head-case but he's been pitching decent. G-men fairly decent vs L, so far, and Rox prefer L so far this season. BP's approaching comparable as Rox pen has come slightyl back to earth.
sf +110
Before seeing Tuesday's action, this one looks like a coin-toss.

more to come
save maybe from the chisoxsticks

Norris a potential B-grade hurler and looked good in his last, while Dickey doesn't seem to be repeated past success. Astros preferring L so far, as in recent years (hence the Tuesday try), and their BP is only slightly more moderately neato than the Mets pen. Need to see some Tuesday results, here, but more than leaning Astros, presently, at the +132.

7 pit@Flor
Both suck. No way Nolasco should be -156 here--he's looked mediocre while Morton has been decent. Comparable, really, though Fishy BP appears to be one of the better ones, by early indications; seems to be about all they've got going for them this year, unless Johnson can stay healthy. Probability favouring the Fish but the line favours a pass.

7 ariz@Cin
Arroyo came back to earth in his last and his upside doesn't really appeal to me. Kennedy the better hurler, IMO, and D'Backs occassionally can explode offensively. Similar problem as the Fish game with the -150 price tag...I think I'd take ariz over pit, if forced to choose.

Zimmerman looking okay but Garcia's been great, so far, though his last was certainly not his best. Both BP's middle-of-the-road. Both clubs prefer facing righties, especially Cards, and only one has pleasure of doing so Wednesday. Looks like big edge Cards.

I think Marty Foster is pretty even, ump-wise.
Need to see Tuesday's and check out windness before trying a mildly appealing runline.

If money remains...what the freak happened in Baltimore?

10 atl@Lad
Prefer Braves but price (-140) needs to come down majorly if I'll be a victim, here.

Buchholz sucked vs the A's in 3 previous; he started last year hot but has been nothing special this year, including a mediocre spring training. Gonzalez has been pretty hot, so far. Sticks totally favour the Sox, though, and they've been preferring L to R as well in the early going. Mildly prefer A's but price (-117) looks passable.

Pale Hose are looking paler.

3:40 det@Seat
Can't touch Bedard, presently. M's O is again grim, too. Porcello showed a little something in his last and with a good showing tonight then Tigers will tempt. Only have them with a moderate edge but a risk might be worth more than Ignatieff's chances of getting my vote. Prefer the Tigers more tonight (Tues). Line moves based on tonight's winner, methinks.

6:40 cws@Tb
I'd say toss a coin but chisticks have fallen off the table in recent games while Rays looking like they mildly compete even with nobody in the lineup. Prefer Davis but he needs some experience. 'Sox grim pen could decide this one. -124 is not appealing.

7 min@Balt
Twins even funnier vs L, so far this season, than vs R. Blackburn nothing special in last and middle-of-the-road at best. Too early to tell with lefty Britton but he looks to be the favoured SP while both pens look like nothing special. Totally prefer Balt, even before Tuesday's current 3-0, bottom of 4. Current -126 is only moderately enticing.

Guess I need some late mojo rising.
Again.

Colon had a very good spring; gotta be pumped to be given another life, especially in the Yanks order. Cecil is not a start I want to bank on, right now, and sticks totally favouring the visitors, even if no A-Rod, what with the Jays quickly falling off the table offensively. Price (-116) mildly appealing if my geography was different. Go Jays!

8 laa@Tex
Dang 8 total at Rangers BP but I guess these SP's warrant it. No way I'm fading Weaver, presently. Both BP's lookin' hot, too, maybe with a bit of an edge to Angels, with Tex coming back down to earth a bit, similar to Rox pen. Angels hitting L very well and Rangers, again, totally preferring R. Weaver more proven but Harrison has been great. Slight lean on Angels could become full-blown depending on showing Tuesday. Current is -102 and I doubt it will reach dog status.

8 clev@Kc
phew...Gomez gets out of a jam in the 1st...thought I was gonna be down early in another.
Masterson-Hochevar looks like a no-brainer, IMO, despite Hoch's solid showing in last (was M's). Neither BP great but middle-relief for KC is definately poorer. Momentum and sticks preferring Indians (not sure why no Sizemore, tonight, but he'll be back tomorrow, no doubt). -107 is beyond tempting and with a VW, Tuesday, it will transcend drooling.

Just some thoughts.
Comments welcome.
Plays later.

Can't read too much into one day's mishap, but Cain should be able, Mets blow chunks, Weaver is intwined and chances are that injuns have just played their worst game of the year--can only get better.

Too many visitors, maybe.
House party crash.
