Crazy press conference:scared

HOLY FUCK:scared

9 minute mark McGregor goes way way way way over the line. Aldo is going to be so jacked up for
this fight because of that, you don't touch the belt unless it is yours.

Watch the kid at 22 minute mark:142smilie

Man oh man oh man does the UFC know how to market itself.

Going to be a pleasure to see Aldo destroy McGregor.

Watch 43 minute mark to the end....fucking hell:scared

I have to say first off - amazing atmosphere but WTF is with letting the crowd ask pro fighters questions like that. Now from a marketing point this is awesome for the UFC.

Conor like to act crazy and be the center of attention. This is the chance of a lifetime and I'm assuming he has PPV points in this fight and he is looking for the paycheck of a lifetime. Jones vs Cormier did 800k PPV buys, Silva vs Diaz around 700k and the recent Rhonda fight 600k. As Conor is the new golden boy I would expect him to get points something like this.

Less than 100,000 buys: No money
100,000-175,000 buys: $1.00/buy
175,000-300,000 buys: $1.50/buy
300,000-330,000 buys: $2.00/buy
Over 330,000 buys: $3.00/buy

So if Conor/Aldo can do over 850k he will walk away with at least $2.5million just from PPV points. Those figures above are for GSP from UFC 129 and I would expect Ronda and Conor to have similar. So you can see why Conor is promoting this like crazy

But Aldo is a special kind of killer and come fight night I think we will see why.

Can't wait for this fight:0corn

"the bunker"
jose is probably mentally done

I will bet conor

I`m so glad they`re doin` this in vegas.......no home court for anybody(although i suspect the place will be packed with mics)......

took McGregor at +160....can manipulate that a little if the line stays the same(+130 right now)...I think it all depends on whether aldo gets goaded into a firefight or whether he decides to use his mobility...McGregor will try and walk him down....aldo needs to use angles and his wheels....

it`s funny how styles make fights......aldo beats Frankie edgar and I thnk edgar might be an even tougher nut to crack for McGregor than aldo could be.........

a little over 3 months to kick this one around....

should be a pisser...

conor is a very economical fighter cardiowise

if jose goes for the gusto he will gas much faster

notorious won't be beaten until he fights frankie edgar

I think the fight goes the full 5 and also think Conor will give him some problems. I would love to see Conor win but this fight reminds me of the Cormier vs. Jones fight. Jones has been in wars with some greats while Cormier hadn't. We knew what Jones could do in almost every situation but we didn't know about Cormier because he hadn't been in every situation. Same goes for Conor here. Aldo has been there and done that.

I want Conor to win but if I bet it will be on Aldo. Really doubt I'll go one way or the other because I just want to root for a great fight with the better man winning. I hate when it's a great fight and I'm one of the losers.

Walking him down I think could be key. If Conor can do this then he makes it much more difficult for Aldo to hit his leg kicks. Staying stationary against Aldo is a no no

Wow, looks like Jones is going to go down for this one. Maybe the have time to get Cormier ready for a fight with Rumble. :0corn

It's sad to see, another GREAT that has an addiction. I was thinking this whole time he was young and partying a little but when you've had this many issues you don't driver around with weed and mdma in the car. If it was just partying and having fun then someone else would have been driving him. He was by himself with it all and risking way too much. I honestly thought he would go down as the greatest UFC and MMA fighter ever but I guess not now.
