We go into a country and within 6 months all law and order is replaced with total chaos and then we wonder why this country is in total confusion...............

Now we see the 2 main factions...... Shiites and Sunnis.......and other small factions all killing each other...........

Now think about this...........maybe this was the plan all along..............I mean if you really wanted to control a state, country or even a neighborhood........the best thing would be to get all of your enemies in that area killing each other and when this gone as far as you want it to go then you just take over..........of course we are losing our brave soldiers day after day but the numbers are not near as many as iraqis than have died.........

Just something to think about...............

ON IRAQ.......
If you walk into a house and you're supposed to clean that house, and you walk in and you go, "This house is just way too ****ed up for me to clean; I'm not going to clean it," and you leave the house, that's one thing. But if you walk into a house that's already ****ed up and you go, "Well, I'm going to take their cable and their plumbing, and then I'm going to leave," that's a whole different thing. ?Rob Thomas on Bill Maher HBO show

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
some saw it in 1991, when Bush senior thought of taking Bagdad

some saw it in 1991, when Bush senior thought of taking Bagdad

"It would be dangerous. We?d get mired down inside Iraq in a conflict that?s been raging for generations in the interests of trying to dictate who?s going to govern in Iraq. That is not something that we are prepared to see American forces do."

"For the US to get involved militarily in determining the outcome of the struggle over whose going to govern in Iraq strikes me as a classic definition of a quagmire." ---- from 1991 interview with Sec. of Defense, Dick Cheney

Who knew???

Who knew???

Most any one that was informed or took the time to look.

Half the people that testified before Congress before the war knew and predicted exactly what would happen. From Gen Shiunseki to Zinni and on. That's why the Neo-Cons had to concoct this lie of WMD's. Listened to the speeches before the vote to authorize the war and many among them, Dick Gebhart for one stated that if the information on WMD's presented was wrong and there was plenty of doubt on it being true we would be possibly the cause of instability or a major war in the entire Middle East.
Its a dead subject now for me and if this comes to our shores as in most likely will in our lifetime...i will not be here. Picture what u see in Bagdhad and then transpose it to Bowling Green. Nice eh??? Well u can thank George when that RPG hits ur house and u lose ur family because of than IED than was on the road to your super market.
Was told that some of our guys had found leaflets saying "Run Home To Bush Yankee, We will See You Again on The Streets of Los Angeles!!"

Are you really that ignorant to believe all the propaganda you read..........if you ask 9 out of 10 iraqis (the ones you can find who are still alive)

they would rather saddam still be in power than what they have now......their economy is destroyed and there is civil unrest.........

the heads cut off of anyone who was fighting is downright silly............

Its a fact you cant argue that Iraq was in a lot better shape with Saddam in power than it is now........

To me if your judging the president on success in Iraq you have to give him an A+. He has done every thing him and Cheney set out to do. They have made huge amounts of money. In their world this is how they relate to success. He couldn't careless about their freedom. His bullshit about WMD proved to be bullshit like all the rest of his reasons. This thing was all about making money . We saw how the Carlyle group went from 12 billion before 9/11 to 44 billion. Halliburton having the biggest returns in their lives. KBR, Bectel you can go on and on. So in GWBush world this has been a huge success and this is why he always say's "we are not gonna leave till the job is finished". There is more stealing to take place unless the congress has the balls to stop sending money over there. He also has his permanent bases set up and when some pressed him on this he wouldn't answer the question. Now if you are grading him for the reasons he gives us on why we are in Iraq, the grade is an F and if their is a grade lower could someone let me know it. To me every single person who voted for this war should be voted out of office. Every single one of them because if they couldn't figure out they were being conned but i could, then your to stupid to be in these type of jobs. If your voting for a war just to save your political hyde then again you should be shipped out. To save your ass to jeopardize peoples lives is almost as bad as Georgie himself.

Those eight people are missed to. Leave scott alone lol. Mav the best part is we gave
Saddam the gas to gas the Kurds but he is the bad guy for using it. This prick use to be our buddy. Could you imagine if we rushed the whitehouse to overthrow Bush? They might kill about 100 thousand of us. If he is the Butcher of Bagdad then we are the killer chemist.

No surprise. Complete misused of our good men and women. They will do what their told. Just need that someone who tells them to be smarter.
And maybe a plan would help. We had big splash when statue came down and that was that.
Mean while we got to pay more attention to Afghanistan.

Are we really surprised--
After reading much of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad letter to U.S. he has almost identicle talking points as liberals in this forum and elsewhere?

even goes as far as dissing this admin for violating U.S. citizens civil liberties--now that funny coming from him-

I guess my question is-- who is following and who is leading on their talking points.

Give it a rest, pal. This thing of trying to paint Americans who disagree with Bush as being the same as the enemy won't fly and it's pretty damn insulting. Your routine is old.

Democrat leadership now has more military service than it's GOP counterpart. So what does that mean? Does that mean the republicans are now the enemy because they haven't fought as much as the dems.

Just stop attempting this garbage of painting dems and traitors. Bush got us into all this mess, yet you don't blame him for any of it. ....But I guess you just "call em as you see em", right?
